Digitel’s internet provider low rated services
Here in the Philippines, internet providers are now progressing quite a little bit slow. Well, as you can say other providers has been improved a lot and some are kinda slug. Not all DSL providers are good enough to satisfy your internet needs, when you’re trying to find a good DSL provider you have to ask first, search, or find any evidence that the provider deals with good offer and best services to have.
Here’s one of the low quality service Digitel’s ADSL plans as I experienced their services a year ago. As of Digitel’s official site you can visit this link, the site is pretty outdated though. Specifically we had the plan 999 256kbps “back2skul” promo 3 years ago from now and I’m going to rate their services and sorts.
From Highest-1 to Lowest-5 rate.
Service Fees: 3
- Affordable offers most especially on latest plans
- The monthly fee basis is like a rush, calling you advance before the monthly payment is somehow annoying.
A/DSL Performance: 3
- An average performance, compatibility with other internet providers got higher pings from 80-300ms (may also vary or lower than the specified lowest ping)
- Randomness of speed, your speed gets lower than your plan or luckily more than 768kbps (I once encountered 1Mbps of Download speed rate.)
Connectivity: 3
- Connection applied 3days after subscription also this relates with the performance speed.
- Rarely disconnecting of internet connection.
- Disconnected lines takes a day or two.
- Connection might be capped half of the DSL plan you subscribed.
Hot-line Support: 4
- Not much of help nevertheless agents has good communication skills.
- Support agents sometimes unfriendly.
Technical Support: 5
- Technicians would take more than a week or month.
In conclusion, Digitel internet provider is rated below close average. This is how I rated my self-experienced with the provider, others might found good services about Digitel’s DSL so I’m not saying this bad in general.
Just choose wisely then.
